Our main building was constructed in 1848 to provide a fitting residence for the elderly of the village. Its architectural style is Neo-gothic, featuring twenty-two granite dormer windows and eight chimneys with multiple smoke stacks. It was constructed in the shape of an “H” with the sides oriented to the east and west and the center of the building facing north and south. The chapel was added in 1902 on the northern end of the western side. The Manor sits on five thousand five hundred square meters of garden. This property and another of equal size are enclosed on all sides by a stonewall ranging from two to three meters high. The shape of the building provides two courtyards. One faces north and rue de l’Hospice with a surface area of seventy square meters. The second faces south with one hundred and forty square meters where you will find chairs, tables and parasols for your comfort. Please feel free to lounge in this courtyard, reading a book, or enjoying all the fresh Breton air your lungs can absorb.
We currently offer three newly renovated and spacious guestrooms, 20 to 25 meters square, each with a private modern bath. Our rooms are furnished with antiques and an extra large comfortable bed, to offer you charm, character and most important a comfortable stay. |
